| Vanaja is chastised for stepping in front of the altar - worse yet, in direct line between it and Rama Devi. To the right of Vanaja's left foot is an open Bhagavad Gita, placed on a reading stool. In front of Rama Devi is a Tamboora - an instument that is plucked, and whose sole purpose is to provide a drone of reference notes.
